Idol Rumors

In case anyone else was as curious about Ryan's reference to the rumors on the Internet about Paula being untrue, I did a little research. This article is a good start:

Apparently the change in format did happen mid show, and that is what confused Paula. Idol is vehemently denying that they pre-write all of their comments from the dress rehearsals, but do admit that the judges catch dress rehearsal from time to time. They also came out and denied that Paula was having cocktails with Ryan at lunch time before the show aired on Tuesday, and that they would have to replace her as a judge.
From what I can see, Paula's "confusion" created enough Idol buzz to give this show (which is down 10% with the viewing public) that much needed boost in the ratings.
As far as Brooke going home, my goodness. How dramatic and painful to watch. I am glad that is over.
